Award Presentation and Book Club Schedule Changes

We are postponing our annual award presentation and welcome back meeting until Tuesday, 13 October. We apologize for the late notice. Club leadership recently became aware of a schedule conflict with our usual meeting space, and we were unable to secure an alternate location. Please plan to join us on 13 October at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room at Freestone Climbing Center.

Additionally, we are going to make an adjustment to the Rocky Mountaineers book club reading schedule. For our September meeting, we are going to shift books to The Big Burn by Timothy Egan. The Big Burn is a compelling read and tells the story of an integral event in the history of western Montana. If you have already started on The Monkeywrench Gang, don't fret--that will be our November book. September book club will take place on Wednesday, 25 September at Mark's house. Please RSVP if you'd like to attend.
