Description: Review of avalanche safety. We will hit on these topics: reading the forecasts, applying the forecast to trip planning, red flags, varieties of field tests, and reading test results. This round table is meant to be a refresher of skills. I am not a mountain guide and probably have an equivalent education on these topics as most of you. That said, come out and contribute what you can and sharpen those skills before winter gets into gear.(This round table is required if you plan on attending the field day on the 7th.)

The event will run from 6:30-8:00pm.  Freestone Climbing Center- Second Floor- walk in front door and just ask the folks at front desk for directions.  Feel free to bring food and drink.
